Enrique A. Silberblatt, MD of Aesthetic Surgery of Virginia offers Ultherapy® to non-surgically treat moderate signs of aging on the face, neck, and décolletage.
Roanoke, VA — At Aesthetic Surgery of Virginia, Dr. Enrique A. Silberblatt and his team are dedicated to offering patients the latest, most effective surgical and non-surgical cosmetic enhancement procedures available. Recently, the Virginia plastic surgeon announced the addition of his practice’s newest skin rejuvenation treatment: Ultherapy®.
Also called Ulthera®, Ultherapy® is a non-surgical, non-invasive procedure designed to lift and tighten skin on the face, neck, and décolletage using ultrasonic energy. During treatment, Dr. Silberblatt explains that ultrasound energy waves are delivered deep into subcutaneous tissue layers of the targeted area, effectively stimulating the natural production of new collagen within the skin. Over time, he adds, this new collagen should progressively help lift, tighten, and strengthen the skin for a more youthful, natural-looking appearance.
In addition to the procedure’s non-surgical nature, Dr. Silberblatt notes that other significant benefits of Ultherapy® can include:
- A decrease in the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles
- A relatively short treatment time – typically about an hour
- No need for injectables and/or incisions
- Little, if any, recovery or downtime
- Excellent results without surgery
Ultimately, Dr. Silberblatt says Ultherapy® can often be a great rejuvenative option for individuals who are starting to experience subtle signs of facial aging like sagging skin and minor wrinkles, as well as for those not interested in more invasive procedures such as facelift surgery.
