Before working at Aesthetic Surgery of Virginia, she was the head of Nuclear Medicine at Community Hospital for 3 years, taught at Virginia Western Community College for 2 years, and worked in the pharmaceutical division of Procter and Gamble for 10 years. When she isn’t at work, she loves to spend time with her husband and son. Her passion is raising and training St. Bernard dogs.
Kathleen, Licensed Master Esthetician
Kathleen has been a Medical Master Esthetician for over 20 years. In addition to chemical peels and microdermabrasion, her experience with and extensive knowledge of a variety of medical technologies allow Kathleen to develop individual, customized treatments for each patient. She is certified to perform micro focused ultrasound (Ultherapy®), fractionated Erbium laser treatments (Fraxel®), and all treatments on the Lumenis® M22™ platform (IPL) that corrects vascular lesions, sun damaged skin, and aging skin. This specialized skill set allows Kathleen to correct facial skin imperfections and help maintain long-lasting, beautiful results. She is well respected in her field and has become the “go to girl” in the Roanoke region for non-ablative skin resurfacing.
Kathleen is also the proud mom of 3 beautiful, successful women. In her free time she enjoys trail running, CrossFit training, and Pilates to compliment her love of cooking and fine wine.
Ami, Nursing Assistant
Ami works closely with Dr. Silberblatt, assisting with patient care and procedures performed in the office. She began working at Aesthetic Surgery of Virginia in 2015 and has truly found her home. She has been a certified nursing assistant for 7 years and continues to work towards her nursing degree. From long-term care units to hospitals, she has experience in many different sectors of the medical field.
She loves her role at the practice because it allows her to interact with patients and help them feel confident about the way they look. In her free time, she enjoys playing with her daughter and 2 energetic dogs.
Sherry, Business Manager
In 2017, Dr. Silberblatt brought Sherry on board as business manager for the practice. She has over 20 years of combined business office management and customer relations experience. She believes that open communication with each patient is the key to success, and she strives to make each patient feel like family. Her optimism and bubbly personality are contagious, and she is always willing to go the extra mile to help patients and other members of the team.
Sherry is a native of the Roanoke Valley, and she lives in a well-known historic home, “Baldwin’s Cabin,” which from 1950 through 1980 hosted many fraternity and sorority parties. Sherry enjoys cooking for friends and family and spending time outdoors with her Border Collie, Savannah.
Robbie, Aesthetic Professional
Robbie has been a licensed permanent cosmetic tattoo artist and certified lash technician at our practice in 2015. Her passion for her work stems from her early childhood. Her brother was diagnosed with cancer when he was 15 months old and received treatment from St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis. She was inspired by the doctors and nurses who helped him, so she wanted to give back. Her goal is to make people smile when they look at themselves in the mirror.
She lives here in Roanoke in the wilds of Franklin Co. on 40 acres with her husband and 2 teenage children. When she isn’t working, she loves to spend time with her family and 3 adorable rescue dogs.Back to Top
